Restore yourself with gentle Qigong

For over 25 years, I have taught mind-body classes for special audiences. For the last nine years, I have taught classes at pain centers and have worked with people one-on-one as part of the functional restoration programs that help people who live with pain find greater mobility and better stress management to help their pain situations. While these restorative Qigong and Tai Chi classes are not a pain treatment in and of themselves, they can be part of your self-care management that helps you find peace in your situation and manage your life better.

Please consult with your health care providers to make sure the practice of meditative movement is suitable for you.

be at ease

Join us for easy and lighthearted Qigong classes live on Zoom.

This is a friendly Zoom gathering to practice Restorative Qigong. Just in time for the holidays, this is a drop-in format where we will do Qigong that enhances vitality and restores the soul. Every class, we will have tea, warm up, and then do simple “flows” and guided meditation. This is a gentle and meditative dance of health that is meant to be a contrast to the rush and tumble of everyday life. The set of Qigong exercises bring mobility to your muscles and joints with a mind-body-breath focus. Because this is not a series, we will not record sessions. When you sign up, you sign up to get the weekly reminder and the Zoom link.

For this class, you can:

  • Practice seated, standing or lying down

  • Take tea breaks as needed

  • Come when you can

  • Socialize when you want to

  • “Pay” for class by making a love offering in the electronic “tip jar” (PayPal or Venmo) anytime
